Merit Scholarship
Every season, we award 12 students with essay based Merit Scholarships.
The student must be actively enrolled in Oakland Youth Orchestra for the current season, and fill out a questionnaire. A committee reviews the applications, and rewards up to 12 students with $125 to be applied toward their music education.
