Audition Application Instructions
If you are already a member of OYO, you MUST sign in through the Members Only area
Welcome to the 2012 Oakland Youth Orchestra Audition Sign-up Process. The software will guide you through the audition sign-up and allow you to schedule a specific date and time for your audition when completed. It is far from being perfect, so please be patient as you move along. Hopefully, things will run without any huge glitches.
Our four tier orchestra system is grouped by following criteria:

For FALL Auditions, we only audition select instruments. If you cannot find your instrument in the pull-down menu, it is because auditions are not offered for that instrument in the orchestra you selected.
All of the auditions will be held at Varner Hall in Oakland University. (see map). Signs will be posted in the building to direct you once you arrive.
Please be aware that the audition sign-up is a LENGTHY PROCESS. We ask for A LOT of information. For example, we like to know your instructor's mailing address and your school's mailing address along with phone numbers.
At the end, we will ask you to select a specific time for your audition. Once you commit to an audition time YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE, so please make sure you will be able to audition at the time you select before you hit the final "Confirm" button.
Please make sure that you have plenty of time, and
all of the information you need to complete the sign-up
before you proceed.
For your security, we will not store any of your personal information
until you have selected a time for your audition.
Finally, if you encounter any technical problems, please email oyoauditionhelp@oyomi.org IMMEDIATELY. We would like to correct the problem as soon as possible as these things tend to snowball as more people encounter the same problem. If we find that the problem is serious enough, we may even need to temporarily make the sign-up process unavailable while we correct the problem. Other questions that are not technical in nature should be directed to admin@oyomi.org.
